Let’s get this straight, other than the fact the iTouch’s iCare insurance groups it with the iPods (though it is more expensive), it is not remotely similar to the iPod. So to the Apple fanboys using “but people complained about the iPod 9 years ago, and look where it’s at now”, that defense is pathetic.
But let’s follow the logic for a moment, say the iTouch is an evolved version of the iPod classic, while the Nano and Shuffle are branches along the evolutionary scale. In that case, the iTouch equalavant of the iPad will be pimp beyond belief, if far way.
Well enough banging the iPod for a moment. It was definitely a stepping stone to greater things, like the way we viewed portable music and the potential of handheld entertainment. (Please ignore the existence of the Walkman and Gameboy as you read that sentence).
A minor failing lies in the fact it only ever encouraged the consumption of poor quality music, with its combination of the iTunes store, the rigid audio formats it accepted, and the subpar hardware inside the actual device.
I doubt it’s possible to encourage the consumption of subpar ebooks, so good luck to the Ipad as it gets forward to boldly beat the living shit out of its competition, netbooks ebook readers.
This is why you should consider Googling a name before you use it. Vaginal firewalls and whatnot.
